Dragon Mountain Gold has a majority interest in a portfolio of gold projects in China which range in status from grass roots exploration to advanced stage drillout and mineralisation definition status. These projects are located in Gansu Province (Lixian Project) and the Xinjiang Autonomous Region (Xinjiang Projects), of the Peoples Republic of China.
Lixian ProjectThe Lixian Gold Project in Gansu Province, located in the Qinling orogenic belt, comprises two joint venture areas known as the Long Jin and Long Ao Joint Ventures. These encompass one Exploration Licence at Long Jin known as the LiBa Licence and 4 Exploration Licences at Long Ao including the Taoping Jinshan Licence. Lixian Project Licences total 36.39 km2, located within a historic mining district. An application has been lodged to convert the Liba Exploration Licence to a Mining Licence.
Xinjiang ProjectThe Company also has a majority interest in the Xinjiang Projects (Dashankou, Sahentohai and Halke Shan Projects) where granted licences cover approximately 588km2 of select areas within the geologically significant Tian Shan Orogenic Belt. The Dashankou and Sahentohai Projects are located in areas containing known gold mineralisation with Dashankou featuring drill ready targets. The Halke Shan Project is a grass roots conceptual target with limited previous exploration
